I've never done this before, but because of the number of people who have contacted me about a shot from a previous blog, I'm devoting this gallery entirely to one surfer - Chris Maletta.

I posted the above photo of Chris, a resident of Point Judith in Narragansett, R.I., in my last blog and a whole bunch of people were excited to tell me who it was in hopes I could contact him to let him know about the shot. I had gotten many other shots of him that day because he was absolutely ripping, and thanks to the magic of social media, I was able to reach him. 

Normally, I like to only include the best photo or two of any one surfer in my galleries, but Chris warranted a little extra attention for this shred session. Check out the shots below to see what an epic day he had off of Rhode Island's south coast.
