When September Ends

A surfer sizes up the massive swells before heading into the lineup during a September surge at Deep Hole in Matunuck, R.I.

There's no doubt this was a September to remember. New England was spared the worst as several storms stayed out to sea, but those storms sent massive swells to the southern Rhode Island coast.

I was able to get out and shoot a lot of photos during the longest sustained period of great waves that I can remember. I took so many shots, in fact, I've been way behind in culling and editing them for publication. Well, I've finally gotten through the bulk of them, so I'll be posting more shot on a fairly regular basis over the next couple of weeks.

If you are pictured in my blog, or if you see someone you know, please feel free to reach out an touch base with me. I love meeting the people whose photos I capture! Also please feel free to link my blog on your social media channels if you think your friends would enjoy it!
